Course Description:
This is a full year introductory course in the study of Psychology. This course will examine the vast and diverse field of psychology, including prominent theorists, past and present, varied disciplines within psychology, and applications of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. This course will emphasize active learning through demonstrations, discussions, debates, projects and other activities as well as lecture and direct instruction. |

Attendance:
Regular daily attendance is expected. Cutting class is unacceptable. | |
School attendance policy will be strictly enforced | |
Poor attendance will be reflected in your grade. |
Promptly be seated when bell rings.
Grading:
Your grade will be determined by a point
system. The total number of possible points divided by the points
accumulated will yield your grade average. The point breakdown is as
follows:

Homework:
Readings and/or written assignments are to be completed by due date. Late work will only be accepted immediately following an absence. | |
District guidelines and policy with regard to plagiarism and cheating will be followed. A "0" will be given to any assignment deemed inappropriate. |
Extra-help/Make-up work:
Extra help is available after school most days. Check with me for details and scheduling. Feel free to see me then if convenient. | |
