BOARD OF DIRECTORS responsibility
Introduction
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Preparatory Professional School. Members are appointed by the school at large and serve four-year terms of office. |

The Board provides direction for operating the school through actions taken at its meetings. They implement the policies and procedures in which the programs and other business of the school are carried out. Proposed policies require input from the parents prior to final implementation. |

The Board meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the school location. Parents are welcome to attend the meeting except, for the closed sessions, in which the Board discusses employee, student related matters. Certain study sessions and meetings will be held when needed. |

Board Members do not act individually, they all participate as one governing body; action is only taken when all are present, at a formal meeting session and the majority of the members must be present. |
